Certain colours act like a magnetic force, completely taking us over and drawing us inwards, we are mesmerised. Beautiful light-filled iridescent golden hour sun shimmering on the Aegean Sea. Marigold garlands in a temple in Mumbai at dusk, flower petals drying on a beach in Goa. These are the elements of this book, the threads that I have chosen to follow and weave together.

The Luminary Studio in Sussex is steeped in warmth and sunshine from the marigold dyed silks created in Mumbai. Memories of glimmering blues from Hydra in Greece blur the horizon between sky to sea, between reality and dream.

This book brings to life the colours of makers and visionaries around the world - who are working with natural resources and crafting materials as an act of love. Each colour in this book is grounded in the land it came from, coming together in devotion to a shared global vision of a hopeful collective future.
