Natural Dyeing Workshop
Learn how to extract inks and dyes from foraged wild plants and hedgerow flowers, together with Anna Starmer and Clare O’Leary. Immerse yourself in the art of creating natural colours, this is a study of the season, as we learn from the plants and flowers growing wild on the South Downs at this time of year. Including a walk in nature, making dyestuff and dyeing fabrics to take home, plus a locally foraged vegan lunch.
Luminary Open Studio + Guests
As part of the Artwave Festival in Lewes we will be opening the Luminary Studio to the public for the first time ever. You can come along to view Luminary Books and colours, vintage clothing sale and photography. Tea and Cake too!

Clerkenwell Design Week - 21+22.5.24
The Future of Colour and Materials by Luminary Colour, a 2 day event during Clerkenwell Design Week and hosted by Camira.
The key to beautiful design starts with a deep love for colour and materials. Anna will take you on a creative journey revealing how Luminary turns global research into the concepts and stories that inspire brands to rethink their approach to colour and material innovation.

Our new studio is housed in a 400 year old converted coaching Inn right in the heart of Lewes in East Sussex, just an hour or so from London Victoria. Renovated responsibly and with sustainable building practice at its heart, full of character, heritage and a sensitive approach to colour, surface and reclaimed materials throughout. The Studio has two unique spaces for hire, a photographic location and event space.
Workshops
We are delighted to be able to have the perfect space where we can host client workshops and creative sessions, alongside our our archive of design books, colour and materials. We will be inviting like-minded creatives to share their wisdom, and host gatherings, as we build our network of learning, creating and healing.
